Why SustainablyHired?

In 2024 I found myself looking for a new career. I knew that I wanted to leave a positive impact on our planet but felt entirely unfit to do so. As a lifelong marketer, I lacked the background to work in sustainability, ESG or similar roles. Similarly, finding jobs I was well-qualified for at companies I believed in felt like a needle in a haystack.

SustainablyHired was born for those of you - like me - seeking to contribute to an organization that prioritizes our planet over profits.

Our goal is to curate everyday jobs at companies innovating & excelling in corporate sustainability & to connect them with best talent.

Instead of developing our own criteria for what constitutes a “sustainable" or "ecoconscious" company, we lean on 3rd party partnerships & certifications such as Protect Our Winters, Climate Neutral & 1% for the Planet, among many others.

As we evolve we will aim to constantly add more companies innovating for the benefit of our planet.
